I’m Lolade— a Registered Nutritional therapist and health coach

I am passionate about empowering women through nutrition and health. My mission is to help you redefine your relationship with health, food and your body.

My story

I am passionate about promoting a way of nourishing our mind and body that is simpler and kinder and focuses on thriving and living joyfully.

I just wanted to know the power of food!

I was tired of the fear based messages, the misinformation, the anxiety and confusion I saw so many women experience with food. I knew I wanted something different, a deeper connection with food that went beyond simply satisfying my hunger or getting me in the hottest bikini body for the summer.

I wanted to replace the fear, anxiety, overwhelm and guesswork around nutrition & health with confidence, positivity and a feeling of empowerment especially as I navigated life as a new mother and experienced physical and mental changes in my body that no one quite prepared me for.

My first step was to redefine what wellness meant to me

I decided to follow the science and went back to school to study the science of nutrition in a safe space away from all the fads and gimmicks. I soon realised how much credible information is lacking in the wellness space and how women (and men!) continue to suffer as a result, not realising the super power that we have through food and lifestyle practices to help us feel and look good from the inside out.

I felt a strong desire to bridge this gap and get the truth out so more women like myself can thrive through our biological life stages. As modern women, we need new perspectives to support us as we navigate the rollercoaster that is life. One that will empower us through our daily habits starting with what we put on our plates.

Nutritional therapy

Nutritional therapy is the application of nutrition science in the promotion of health.

It is based on the functional medicine approach which addresses the underlying/ root cause(s) of disease beyond the symptoms, as well as taking a whole body systems approach to wellness.

As a Registered Nutritional therapist (DipCNM) I am clinically trained to work with clients in a one -to-one setting offering tailored nutritional support, recommending meal plans, supplements and further testing.

Additionally I am fully insured and a registered member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT) and the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) which requires me to uphold the highest ethical standards for the safety of my clients.

Food as Medicine + Positive Nutrition

We’ll focus on including more nutrient-dense food to support you at the cellular level but also making room for joy in nourishment. I combine my nutritional expertise with key coaching techniques to educate and empower you to develop a positive mindset and sustainable healthy habits that feel good to you.

Optimising Bio-Individual Health

We are all different from a cellular perspective and at different stages of the journey towards optimal health. My inclusive approach to wellness is non-judgemental and recognises what makes you unique. I aim to meet you where you are physically and mentally and work with you to create a bespoke health roadmap that is aligned with your goals and will reduce inflammation, optimise your energy, healing and performance as well as slow down the acceleration of ageing caused by our modern lifestyles.

Radical Self-Care

We are living in a highly stressed and highly toxic environment and hence the need for radical self care. Self-care is a huge part of the path towards lasting wellness and includes but is not limited to optimising sleep, stress management and movement to best support us physically and mentally.

Holistic Health + Whole-Body Approach To Wellness

My holistic approach builds a full picture of your health and so in your first consultation I will take a deep dive assessing the health of key biological body systems (e.g digestive, nervous, endocrine, immune, musculoskeletal amongst others) and identify the key underlying imbalances in each system.

Additionally I take into account your current dietary patterns, medical history, key stress drivers and other lifestyle factors to gain a deep understanding of your nutritional needs.

Science-Based Holistic Wellness

My method is grounded in science and evidence-based research. As a Registered nutritional therapist it is my duty to stay ahead of the research for the safety of my clients. As the science is always evolving my learning never really stops.

I stay ahead through regular CPD training, interacting with other like minded practitioners and attending seminars and workshops on nutritional & lifestyle medicine where I get to learn from leading experts in the industry. My extensive clinical training has given me the expertise to critically appraise research papers and apply them to my client cases.
